It is with huge thanks to our MSP Dave Thompson Scottish Parliament. To Lochaber News, To The Oban Times, Sunday Post Raw Deal, and Press and Journal for putting pressure on BT to act and reinstate the telecommunications service here at Trust House.
After a 4 year battle BT have agreed to charge us a monthly fee in return for promising to provide a 24 hour call response. This cost will be met by the Trustees and not from your donations so this will not impact on the children's welfare budget.
To this end we are open and already looking forward to next week when we will have a wonderful family coming to us from Glasgow. Thanks to everyone for getting BT to respond and fix the network rather than having their spokes person telling us to relocate to London as it has better services than Scotland.
